Adventure Expeditions – Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Training

I just spent a great weekend delivering some Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Training for Adventure-Expeditions to the Gold and Silver Groups at Derby Grammar School.

We did two sessions of Navigation, planned the routes for both the Practice expedition to the Peak District and  the Qualifying expedition to the Lake District. On top of this we covered sessions on Camp-craft; personal and group equipment; food; dealing with emergencies; and Country, camping and Access codes.

We also had fun completing the Egg challenge.
